Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart

Mozart was considered a child prodigy, and wrote and performed an amazing amount of music during his short life. His music is widely used today in movies: do you recognize any of the clips below?

Ludwig Van Beethoven

Beethoven was born in Bonn, Germany, and grew up surrounded by music in his home. He was described as having a difficult personality, and often struggled to work with others. Part of this was attributed to him gradually losing his hearing at age 26. He continued to compose despite this setback, and is one of the most famous classical composers known today.

Edvard Grieg

Edvard Grieg was born in Bergen, Norway, and was sent to a special music school when he was 15. He had 4 siblings, and a very musical mother and wife. His composition, "Morning," is used widely in film and video games today. Does it sound familiar?
