Recorders
In class we worked on naming recorder notes and fingerings, and played many songs from Denise Gagne's "Recorder Resource Kit." A copy of the book and recordings of the songs can be accessed for free on her website: https://musicplayonline.com/recorder/

Recorder Karate!
Recorder Karate is a program meant to build students' confidence while practicing increasingly difficult songs. Below are the "belts" (in rainbow order). If a student can play the song with no mistakes they earn a belt. This can be a ribbon, string, or yarn tied to the end of their recorder. I am more than happy to receive recordings of students playing these songs at kwestaway@sd57.bc.ca. Good luck!!
